Welcome to Little Berry Kiwi. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us through our WooCommerce store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. About us

Little Berry Kiwi is an online store offering children’s books, toys, stationery and related products. In these Terms and Conditions, “Little Berry Kiwi”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the owner and operator of this website, and “you” or “customer” refers to the person accessing the website or placing an order.

2. Eligibility and parental supervision

By placing an order on our website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. If you are below 18 years old, you should obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian before using this website or making a purchase.

Our products are intended to be purchased by adults or with adult supervision. Parents and guardians are responsible for assessing whether a product is suitable for their child, including with regard to recommended age range, small parts, skill level and any safety warnings stated on the product packaging or product page.

3. Products and product information

We try to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, pricing and stock information on our website are accurate and up to date. However, slight variations may occur, including differences in colour, packaging, edition, print run, design details, or manufacturer updates.

Product images are for illustration purposes only. Books, toys and stationery may vary slightly from the images shown, and packaging may change from time to time without prior notice.

4. Orders

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order, but this does not mean that your order has been accepted.

  • a product is unavailable,
  • pricing or listing information is incorrect,
  • we suspect fraudulent, abusive or unauthorised activity,
  • we are unable to process payment, or
  • the order appears to be placed for resale or commercial redistribution.

If we cancel an accepted order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid for the affected item through the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Prices and payment

All prices on our website are listed in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise stated. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

We may update prices, promotions, product assortments and shipping charges at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged for your order will generally be the price shown at checkout at the time your order is submitted, unless there is an obvious error.

Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers, including HitPay. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with the applicable terms of the payment provider used for your transaction. We do not represent or guarantee the services of any third-party payment provider, and payment authorisation failure may result in delay or cancellation of your order.

6. Promotions and discount codes

From time to time, we may offer discount codes, promotional campaigns, bundles or free shipping promotions. Unless otherwise stated:

  • promotions cannot be combined,
  • promotions are valid only during the stated period,
  • promotions apply only to eligible items, and
  • we may amend, suspend or withdraw promotions where necessary.

A promotion may exclude selected titles, brands, bundles, sale items or other controlled-price items.

7. Shipping and delivery

We currently process and dispatch orders according to the timelines stated on our website or in your order confirmation. Dispatch and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We may use EasyParcel and/or courier partners arranged through EasyParcel or other logistics providers to deliver your order. Delivery timing may vary depending on order volume, stock availability, destination, courier service levels, public holidays, customs or external delays beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We will not be liable for delay, loss, failed delivery, or additional costs arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by you.

Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the address provided in your order, or upon successful collection if self-collection is offered.

8. Failed delivery and returned parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because delivery could not be completed due to incorrect address details, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the parcel, the order will be cancelled directly.

Any refund, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy after deduction of any applicable shipping, return, or administrative charges, if permitted by law.

9. Returns, defective items and order issues

Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for detailed procedures and eligibility. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Singapore consumer law.

If you receive an incorrect item, or an item that is damaged or defective upon delivery, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@littleberrykiwi.sg with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where relevant.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, refund, store credit, or other appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law. We may ask that the item be returned for inspection before determining the appropriate remedy.

Unless expressly stated in our Returns and Refunds Policy, we are not obliged to accept returns for:

  • change of mind,
  • items that have been opened, used, written in, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery,
  • items damaged by misuse, improper storage, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow care or safety instructions,
  • clearance, sale or non-returnable items, or
  • any issue disclosed before purchase.

10. Books, toys and stationery use

Our books, toys and stationery are supplied for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, resell, distribute or commercially exploit our products except where permitted by law or with the relevant rights holder’s permission.

Some toys and stationery may contain small parts or components that are not suitable for young children. Always follow the manufacturer’s age grading, warnings, and usage instructions shown on the packaging or product page.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, product descriptions, logos, layout, website design, photographs, icons and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Little Berry Kiwi and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where the delay or failure arises from events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, system outages, payment network failure, natural events, labour shortages, government action, import or customs issues, or other force majeure events.
